Foredeck

Unlike most cruise ships, the Nordstjernen lets passengers wander around the foredeck, and we were even allowed to use our binoculars and cameras on the flying bridges (the small open decks on either side of the enclosed bridge).

In the picture above, you can see a small inflatable boat, bits of two PolarCirkel boats, and the crane that lifts and retrieves the boats during shore landings.
