Ship's provisions
Vegetables are kept in a refrigerated room on the Silver
Whisper's lower decks. The ship has a complex of stainless-steel
refrigerators, deep freezes, and thawing rooms. All are under computer control,
but temperatures are checked manually twice a day.
Fruits and vegetables are prepared for cooking in the
provisioning area and delivered to the kitchens.
