Galley Brunch
On one sea day during the cruise, the Silver Whisper normally offers a "Galley
Brunch" in the Restaurant. Passengers follow a red carpet into the kitchens,
where an elaborate buffet offers salads, seafood, sushi, pastas, and a variety
of hot entrées. (We were pleasantly surprised to find Swiss specialties such as
Kalbsbratwurst mit Rösti and
Zürcher Geschnetzeltes, or minced veal Zürich style.)
It's a good idea to arrive at the
Galley Brunch early enough for at least two visits to the kitchen--once for
appetizers, and a second time to choose from the entrées. And don't miss a visit
to the dessert table in the dining room.
