Painting the hull in Katakolon, Greece
During our voyage, the crew went to work on the hull with
buckets of white paint and rollers at every opportunity. If there was a speck of
rust anywhere on the Silver Whisper, we didn't see it during our 12-day
cruise.
One thing was curious: The whites didn't always match at
close range, probably because of variations between paint batches, and the
roller patterns occasionally looked random until we'd walked a few dozen meters
from the ship.
