Mandara Spa
A masseuse as muse
It's hard not to feel inspired by the official etymology of the
Mandara Spa's name:
"The name 'Mandara' comes from an ancient
Sanskrit legend about the gods' quest to find the elixer of immortality and
eternal youth. Mandara Spa, originating in Bali, has embraced this legend."
Mandara Spa treatments are not included in the Silver Whisper's
fare, and they cost more than the usual massage or mud bath. Still, there's a
reason for the steep prices, as Carolyn Brown points out in her Silver Whisper
review:
"Many
[treatments] last nearly twice as long as average (80 minutes instead of 50)
and, consistent with Silversea's 'no tipping expected' policy, gratuities are
built into the fee."
