Lyon
In addition to a Métro and buses, Lyon's transit system has modern
trams. The multi-car articulated tram in the photo runs from the
SNCF Gare de Parrache railway station to the Part-Dieu shopping mall (where
you'll find the Galeries Lafayette department store) before continuing to the
northeastern fringes of the city. If you're arriving in Lyon on a river cruiser,
you can catch the tram at a platform by the Quai Claude Bernard.
