Vienne
An ambulance came to the rescue of a passenger on the Viking
Burgundy who showed symptoms of a heart attack. After being examined by
paramedics, the passenger was taken to the Vienne hospital's cardiac unit.
A few days later, the passenger returned to the ship in good
health. He also had a story that should send a message to the francophobic
"freedom fries" crowd: When he was released from the hospital at 10 p.m., he was
invited to spend the night at his anaesthesiologist's house before leaving for
the ship the next day.
