L'Austral Cruise PhotosFrom: L'Austral cruise review Day 5: Mouth of Kotor and Mljet, Croatia (3)
L'Austral wasn't due to reach Miljet for another 3½ hours, so passengers were kept busy with a fashion show by the Pool. Dancers from Paris Ballet C'Show, the ship's entertainment troupe, modeled clothing and accessories from the Boutique.
This dancer looked fetching in her nautical top and straw hat.
"Fashion? Female beauty? I'll drink to that."
After the fashion show, L'Austral's culinary crew served a "BBQ Buffet" lunch by the Pool and downstairs in the Restaurant Le Coromandel.
Cheryl tried a hamburger, which was the best burger she'd had
at sea. (Although the hamburger was made from a preformed patty, it was cooked
medium-rare by default instead of being overcooked.)
An American lunchtime barbecue might have s'mores, brownies,
or ice cream for dessert. On L'Austral, the burgers, ribs, chicken, and
other barbecue fare were followed by elegant pastries that had more in common
with Paris, France than Paris, Texas.
