All too soon, it was time to return to our ship. We reached the tender landing just as a tender arrived.

A few minutes later, the tender tied up to L'Austral's marina and we stepped back on board.

A Zodiac crew was dispatched to untie the ship's hawser from the mooring buoy, and L'Austral was ready to sail by 7:30 p.m.

It took only a few minutes to leave Pomena's harbor behind and return to the open sea. Our next port, Hvar, was 11½ hours away.
