Costa Magica Cruise PhotosFrom: Costa Magica Cruise Review Naples (8)
A dog in downtown Naples pointed us toward the waterfront. (Note the gesturing paw.)
Excellent signs in the city center would have made the Stazione Marittima easy to find even if we'd been disoriented.
We hadn't been in Naples for a few years, and we were pleased to discover that the Port Authority of Naples had added a pedestrian walkway to the large parking lot in front of the cruise terminal.
This photo, which we'd taken earlier at the Castel Sant'Elmo, shows the layout of the Stazione Marittima and the Molo Angioino, the pier served by the cruise terminal. (The parking lot in front of the pier is named the Piazzale Molo Angioino.) Ferries to Sardinia, Sicily, Tunisia, Capri, Ischia, and other locations--some distant, some nearby in the Bay of Naples--depart from piers on either side of the cruise terminal and its seven berths.
