These two photos, which were taken from Dubrovnik's City Walls, show an old tile rooftop and a modern roof below it.

The new roof, which we assume has replaced a roof that was destroyed by shells or bombs, tries--with limited success--to recapture the "organic" multicolored look of Dubrovnik's historic roof tiles.
