Day 5: Honfleur and Caudebec-en-Caux

When we woke up on day 5 of our cruise, a CroisiEurope ship--Seine Princess--was moored alongside our cabin.

Our temporary lack of a view wasn't a hardship, since our morning tour to the coastal town of Honfleur departed after breakfast.

During the bus ride to Honfleur, which lasted about an hour, we enjoyed views of Normandy's villages and countryside through the rain.

The rain stopped briefly, then resumed after we reached Honfleur's busy parking lot for tour buses in mid-morning.

A shuttered pommes frites stand told us that high season was over.

Next to the parking lot, behind the crowded public toilets, an excursion boat was tied to a stone quay.
