ms Rotterdam Cruise Review
Copenhagen, Denmark
The next morning, we took the No. 26 city bus from the "Langelinie, Mole
midt" stop, which was directly across the street from ms Rotterdam. From
the ship, it was only a 15-minute ride to the city center.
Tips for bus riders:
- Single-fare and 24-hour discount tickets are available on the bus, but you
can ride public transportation without paying if you have the
Copenhagen
Card
(which is available online or at Copenhagen tourist offices).
- The No. 26 bus runs every 20 minutes on weekdays, but check transit
schedules locally if you plan to use the bus late in the evening or on weekends.
- You'll need local currency to ride the bus. Change money
at the tourist office near the south end of the Langelinie pier or use the
ATM.
- Remember to validate your ticket in the yellow clipping machine on the
bus at the beginning of your journey. Also, Copenhagen transportation is on
a zone system. If you don't want to worry about zones when riding buses or
trains, buy the CPHCARD or
the 24-hour discount ticket.
