We followed a short staircase and path (and a girl with her dog) until we reached the øresundspark, where Kärnan is the only
remnant of the medieval fortress that guarded Helsingborg for 700 years. The
tower is 34 meters or 111 feet high, with walls that are 4.5 meters (nearly 15
feet) thick.
