City Sightseeing Tour

The red City Sightseeing Tour buses are popular with many visitors, for several reasons:

• The route covers most sights in the New Town and Old Town, with a southern loop that takes passengers near the Museum of Scotland/Royal Museum and the northern fringes of the University of Edinburgh.

• Recorded commentary is delivered through headphones in seven languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, and Japanese

• Buses depart Waverley Bridge until 7:15 p.m. in the peak summer months, or about 30 to 60 minutes later than buses on the other tour routes.
