How to reach North Berwick

Train: From Edinburgh Waverley station, take the North Berwick Line all the way to its last stop. The cheapest open-return ticket costs  £4.90, and is available for purchase at the station’s ticket office. (Allow about half an hour for the ride.) Scotrail

Bus: First Traveller service 124/X5 leaves from the west side of St. Andrew Square, just a block north of Princes Street and Waverley Station. A day pass will cost just under £5.00. (The journey will take about an hour and a half.)

Car: North Berwick is 25 miles (roughly 40 kilometers) east of Edinburgh, and is located on the A198 expressway, 9 miles off the A1 which is accessible from the Edinburgh city center.
