How to reach North Berwick

Train: From Edinburgh Waverley station, take the North Berwick Line all the way to its last stop. (Allow about half an hour for the ride.)

Bus: First Traveller service 124/X5 leaves from the west side of St. Andrew Square, just a block north of Princes Street and Waverley Station. A day pass is inexpensive, and journey will take about an hour and a half in each direction.

Car: North Berwick is 25 miles (roughly 40 kilometers) east of Edinburgh, and is located on the A198 expressway, 9 miles off the A1 which is accessible from the Edinburgh city center.
