Hotel Gatto Bianco
The "Hotel White Cat" is a traditional Capri-style villa near the Piazzetta in the main part of town. Its air-conditioned rooms include balconies or terraces, and the hotel has an elevator.

Hotel La Canasta
The Piazzetta is a five-minute walk from La Canasta, a family-owned hotel with 16 single and double rooms. (From June 30 to September 30, the minimum stay is normally seven nights.) Read guest comments.

Hotel La Floridiana
If you're traveling with your family, consider the Floridiana's suite apartment, which can accommodate up to six guests. Other accommodations range from singles to seaview suites. You can choose between bed-and-breakfast or half-board rates.

Hotel Bellavista
The 15-room Bellavista has beautiful views, as its name implies, and is open year-round. It's located in Anacapri, the higher of the island's two villages. See hotel site.

Hotel Casa Caprile
The Queen of Sweden spent her holidays in this villa until the 1950s, when it was converted into a hotel. The Casa Caprile offers 22 single, double, and triple rooms, plus two junior suites. It's surrounded by gardens and has a bar on the premises.

Hotel Il Girasole
A swimming pool with a terrace overlooking the sea makes Il Girasole an appealing choice during the warmer months. You can eat lunch outdoors, with wine from the Orlando family's vineyard next door.

Hotel La Bougainville
This family-run hotel may be new, but it has a traditional look and feel. It offers 12 rooms, including a suite and a 50-m² apartment, plus a restaurant, parking, and a garden.

Hotel Mulino
Every room has a balcony at the Mulino, which is 10 minutes on foot from the center of Anacapri. When you aren't eating Nonna Maria's home-baked cakes on the terrace or exploring the island, you can check your e-mail at the hotel's Internet terminal.

Hotel Senaria
All 12 rooms offer terraces or balconies at this new but traditionally furnished hotel in Anacapri's centro storico. The nearest bus stop is the Piazza Caprile, which is only about 30 meters or 100 feet from the hotel.
