Capri five-star luxury hotels

Grand Hotel Quisisana
This former sanitarium, built in 1845 by an English physician, now ministers to the needs of a financially healthy clientele. It's centrally located in Capri, near the Piazzetta, and was a "Gold List" winner in the Condé Nast Traveler Reader's Choice poll.

Hotel La Scalinatella
Half of this 30-room boutique hotel's rooms have two bathrooms, with one of the bathrooms featuring a whirlpool tub and separate shower. Like its sister property, the Scalinatella is on the Via Travara.

Hotel Palace
Matthew Barker writes: "don’t have to be a movie mogul, well-heeled, Gucci-shod Eurocrat or Master of the Universe to stay here, but… well, actually you do." The Palace is in Anacapri, far from the bustle of the Piazzetta.
