Smyril Line
The car-passenger ferry Norröna links the Faroes to Denmark, Norway, the Shetlands, and Iceland year-round.

Atlantic Airways
The Faroes' own airline has frequent flights from Copenhagen to Vágar International Airport throughout the year, plus less frequent or seasonal service from several other cities in Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and the UK.

Vágar International Airport
The only airport in the Faroes is located nearly 2-1/2 hours from the capital of Tórshavn by bus and ferry.
