The Festival of Flanders is a series of classical-music concerts that runs from spring
through fall each year, with some concerts taking place in Ghent.
Flanders International Film
Festival
Music is the main focus of this festival, which screens 190 feature movies and
100 short films every year.

The Ghent branch of the Kinepolis multiplex chain has 3,600 seats in 12 theatres and
serves 1,400,000 patrons a year. Some English-language movies are subtitled, usually in
French. Other pictures (especially children's films) are dubbed in Dutch, so check before
