Partnach Gorge - Partnachklamm
| |||||||||||||||||
![]() |
You can return to the entrance of the Partnach Gorge after you've seen the falls, or you can take steps, a bridge, and a path to the top. |
Walk, drive, or take local bus 1 or 2 from central Garmisch or Partenkirchen to the Olympic Ski Stadium. (See bus timetables.) If you're staying overnight in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, you can ride the bus free with your Visitor's Card.
From the Skistadion, follow the signs for the 30-minute walk into the Partnach Gorge. Transportation by horsedrawn carriage is available for a modest fee. You'll also find a refreshment stand near the gorge entrance.
Adults: €2, or €1.50 with a Visitor's Card.
Children 5-16: €1.
Disabled visitors: €1.
(Note: Ticket prices are subject to change, but--as you can see--they're quite modest.)
The Partnachklamm is open 7 days a week except during the spring snow melt. Check with the Tourist Office or your hotel concierge for current hours and advisories.
