This view of downtown Porto was taken from the upper deck of the Ponte de Dom Luis I, which is reserved for Metro trains and pedestrians. (You can see the edge of the bridge and a structure for the Metro's overhead electric cables at the right side of the picture.) The lower deck, just above the river, is shared by cars and pedestrians.
