Rooms and cottages at Vennerbo

Vennerbo has seven rooms and cottages. The Romantic Room is the most luxurious, with a canopied bed, antique furnishings, a private WC and shower, and a small kitchen area. The Yellow Room and Green Room occupy the same building and are just across a gravel courtyard from the shared Annex, which has two toilets, two showers, a kitchen with a separate refrigerator for each room, and a washing machine.

The Red Cottage uses the Annex's facilities but has a private patio, refrigerator, sink, and hot plate. Nearby are Herbret and The Loft, which a few steps up a hillside in a rustic-looking timbered house. Fridhem, a tiny cottage of 10 m² with four bunk beds, has a private patio and is about half the length of a football field from the shared WC and shower facilities in the Annex.

Vennerbo is especially suited to families with children. The farmstead has three dogs, two cats, a playhouse, swings, and a large lawn where children can play games. (Families of students at the Sigtuna Boarding School, which King Carl XVI Gustav attended, sometimes stay at Vennerbo at the beginning or end of the term.)

Breakfast: The Sörvings set up a breakfast basket for each guest or family the night before. In the morning, you go to the annex to fetch your basket (including cold items, which are stored in your private refrigerator) and to make your coffee or tea.
