The 15 travel photos in this album are sample images to accompany my Fujifilm FinePix F601 Zoom camera review. Most were taken at the camera's 1-Megapixel/Fine setting, which yields an image of 1,280 x 960 pixels and stores up to 200 photos on a 128Mb SmartMedia memory card. (Maximum resolution is 3 Mp/2048 x 1536 pixels, or 6 Mp/2,832 x 2,128 pixels with in-camera processing.)

I used the point-and-shoot "auto" mode for nearly all the shots--partly because I was pressed for time, but mostly because I wasn't yet familiar with the controls and didn't want to risk losing any pictures.

The thumbnails in this album were created with Adobe Photoshop Elements, using 50% JPEG compression to shrink file size and download time. No other editing was done. To view the camera's original images, which are a great deal sharper than the thumbnails, click the "See full-size photo" links as you browse through the gallery.

TIPS:

• If you're viewing the full-size photos in Internet Explorer, make sure that your browser is filling your entire computer screen and any menus at the left (such as "Favorites" or "History") are turned off. This will allow the pictures to display at the largest possible size.

• Better yet, download the images to your computer and open them with Adobe PhotoShop Elements or another image-editing program that will let you view the pictures at any zoom setting.
