Rothenburg neighborhood photo

A modern neighborhood lies beyond this section of Rothenburg's city walls. Approximately 40% of the city was destroyed by Allied bombs in World War II, and the ruined districts were rebuilt in a style that was designed to blend in with Rothenburg's medieval Altstadt.
