Maratea - Grand Hotel Pianeta Maratea
The four-star Grand Hotel Pianeta Maratea is located high on a
steep hillside facing Mt. San Biagio and the sea. The ultramodern resort hotel
is popular with Italian families in July and August, thanks to summer recreation
programs and facilities that cater to children. (It even has a waterslide that
zigzags downhill.)
In the off season, the Pianeta Maratea is used mostly for
congresses and special events such as the annual
Caseus Prize cheese
competition.
