Florence Italy photos pictures - Michelangelo's David - Piazza della Signoria

Florence: Michelangelo's David was moved from the Piazza della Signoria to the Accademia in 1873 to protect the marble statue from erosion by rain and dust. This copy has stood outside the Palazzo Vecchio since 1905.
