Siena Italy photos pictures - Torre del Mangia

Siena: Top of the Torre del Mangia, the bell tower of the Palazzo Pubblico. The tower was completed in 1348 and is made of brick topped by a belfry of white travertine marble. You can climb the tower when it isn't raining. Tickets aren't cheap, but you'll save money if you're buying a combined ticket for the tower and the adjacent Museo Civico. The ticket window is in the courtyard of the Palazzo Pubblico or city hall.
