Siena Italy photos pictures - Casa e Santuario di Santa Caterina - well

Siena: The well at the House and Sanctuary of St. Catherine of Siena dates to the 15th or 16th Century and is made of travertine marble. The Santuario's role as a place for veneration and prayer didn't keep Italian tourists from climbing up on the well and posing for snapshots on the day of my visit.
