SpeedFerries is named 'Best Ferry Operator' by
Guardian and Observer
October, 2006 - Low-cost fast ferry operator SpeedFerries has won the “Best
Ferry Operator” 2006 award at The Guardian, The Observer, and
Guardian Unlimited Travel Awards 2006.
The newspapers asked their readers to rate the quality of
service they received on their holidays. Readers voted SpeedFerries’ service the
best in the UK ferry industry (especially SpeedFerries' pricing structure, which
won many of the votes).
This is SpeedFerries’ second award since the opening of its fast ferry
service just over 2 years ago. Last year SpeedFerries won the “Best European
Crossing Operator” award at the Telegraph Travel Awards.
SpeedFerries continues its commitment to offer cross-Channel prices at an
acceptable level and provide a high quality, low cost ferry service for its
customers. SpeedFerries was the first Dover Strait operator to introduce an
online booking-management service, enabling its customers to book and change
their tickets online.
