The price includes transfers by private water taxi between Venice's Santa Lucia Railroad Station and the Hotel Cipriani. This "Venetian Promotion" package is available from April through mid-October, 2009. Additionally, Orient-Express is offering very good rates at hotels in London and Paris that can be combined with the packages. For example, two people can stay for 2 nights in London or Paris for US $500 at either The Ritz in London or The St Regis in Paris. (Transfers are not included in either London or Paris, but can be arranged.) About the trip:
In Calais, guests board the Venice-Simplon-Orient-Express. The VSOE stops in Paris around 10 p.m. to pick up passengers who are boarding in the French capital, traverses the Swiss and Italian Alps the next day, and reaches Venice at approximately 6 p.m. Alternatively, guests can start their trips with two nights at the Hotel Cipriani followed by an overnight VSOE train journey to Paris or London.
