Vigeland Sculpture Park
Gustav Vigeland, Norway's most famous sculptor, created 192 massive works for this city-owned park between 1907 and his death in 1943.

Restaurants

Engelbret Café
Edvard Grieg dined here under the trees in summer; so can you. The year-round indoor dining room is a "theatre café" dating back to 1857. If you don't read Norwegian, see the Oslo tourist office's English description.

Holmenkollen Restaurant
Book a table in one of Oslo's most elegant (and expensive) restaurants. If you don't read Norwegian, click this link for information in English.
