Spain - Balearic Islands

ABOVE: Puerto de Soller,
Mallorca.
The Balearic Islands are a
Spanish province in the Mediterranean, south of Barcelona and east of
Valencia. Two of the islands--Mallorca and Ibiza--draw millions of tourists
annually, including some 3.5 British visitors who take advantage of cheap
charter flights and package holidays to enjoy plentiful sun, beaches, and
nightlife.
Read my Holiday & Travel Magazine article,
The Balearic Islands, for an overview of the province with sidebars on
popular towns and villages. Then visit the pages and sites below to learn more about sights and
activities on Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca, and the two smaller islands of
Cabrera and Formentera.
