Jazz Festivals

Copenhagen Jazz Festival
The Danish capital's festival takes place in early July.
KeiteleJAZZ Festival
The central Finnish town of Äänekoski highlights Finnish and Nordic jazz
artists, with an emphasis on "ladies in jazz."
Montreux Jazz Festival
The grandaddy of European jazz festivals attracts big stars and enthusiastic
audiences for two weeks in early July.
Riverboat
Jazz Festival
During the third week in June, the resort town of Silkeborg in Denmark's
Jutland peninsula welcomes jazz musicians from the U.S. and Europe.
Vitoria-Gasteiz Jazz Festival
Vitoria, a Basque provincial capital, has been drawing big-name jazz musicians
to Northern Spain for more than 20 years.
Willisau Jazz
The Swiss are great fans of jazz, and Willisau has been home to a jazz
festival in late August since the early 1970s.
Blues
Blues Estafette
The Dutch organizers of this festival bill it as "Europe's premier blues
event." It takes place in Utrecht, Holland during November.
