The Jacobskirche, or St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, is the biggest church in
Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It's justifiably famous for its soaring Gothic
architecture and its carved wooden altars.
The church also has a highly regarded organ (installed in 1968) with six
keyboards, 69 registers, and 5,500 pipes. Organ concerts take place twice a week
during the summer.
