The Spitalgarten (above) is a pub-restaurant within the walls of the Katherinenspital, or St. Katherine's Hospital (right), a home for the elderly that was founded in 1220 A.D. The hospital has its own brewery, the Spitalbrauerei, which makes a wide variety of beer and soft drinks.
