Castello di Monteliscai
This ancient castle has three apartments, including one with a sleeping loft and another with a garret bedroom. Prices are quoted for two to six guests. The castello is outside of town in Malafrasca.

Podero Renaccio
Fourteen apartments occupy a building complex that dates back to the 13th Century. The individual flats accommodate two to eight guests, and all face balconies or private gardens. Podero Renaccio is 3 km or 2 miles from Siena.

Le Campane
Four people can fit into Le Campane, a restored apartment 25 meters from the Piazza del Campo with a main floor and sleeping loft.

Le Meridiane
This restored farmhouse just outside the city center has flats that accommodate two to six guests.

Il Palazzetto
Six apartments are available at this converted Tuscan farmhouse, with capacities of two to five guests. The large swimming pool has a barbecue and pizza oven nearby. Il Palazzetto is 4 km (about 2.5 miles) from Siena. See guest comments.

Villa Cantignano
Stay in a luxurious 18th Century villa on the Fattoria di Cantignano, an historic farm within view of Siena's watchtowers. Apartments sleep two to seven guests, and the site's photo album will make you want to move in for good.

Agriturismo San Fabiano
This farmstead is out of town (about 12 km or 8 miles from Siena), but it offers a number of apartments plus a large converted barn, and you can even arrange cooking lessons if you're traveling with a group.
