Maggie in Winter

In extreme weather, even a Bearded Collie needs to wear a snowsuit and boots.

Getting Maggie dressed isn't easy, though--it's like dealing with a sleeping three-year old or a dog who learned passive resistance at a training session for demonstrators. My technique is to hold her on my lap with her back against my chest while working the snowsuit over her legs; after that, I set her down on all fours, zip the suit up her back, and pick her up again to work the four nylon boots over her paws.
