Maggie in Winter
Maggie, a Beardie Rescue Dog
In extreme weather, even
a Bearded Collie needs to wear a snowsuit and boots.
Getting Maggie dressed isn't easy, though--it's like dealing with a
sleeping three-year old or a dog who learned passive resistance at a
training session for demonstrators. My technique is to hold her on my
lap with her back against my chest while working the snowsuit over her
legs; after that, I set her down on all fours, zip the suit up her back,
and pick her up again to work the four nylon boots over her paws.

in Venice" blog about an American dog's adventures in Italy.
