Four-star hotel

The Terrass Hotel is the only four-star hotel within the boundaries of La Butte Montmartre. It's located at the corner of rue Joseph de Maistre and rue Caulaincourt, at the western edge of Montmartre's neighborhood dining and shopping district. Montmartre Cemetery is just across the street, and other attractions such as Sacré-Coeur and the Place du Tertre are easy to reach on foot or via the Montmartrobus, which stops nearby. The hotel's seventh-floor restaurant serves meals on an open-air terrace in the summer months.

Three-star hotels

The Hotel Prima Lepic is on the rue Lepic just below the rue des Abbesses, a treasure trove of restaurants, cafés, shops, and bakeries. The 38-room hotel is a short walk uphill from the Blanche Métro station, which is a quick four-stop ride from the La Chapelle stop (line 4) at the Gare de Nord.

The Holiday Inn Garden Court is on the rue Damrémont, near the northeastern edge of Montmartre Cemetery. The location is just a bit on the outskirts of the Butte for our tastes (the Prima Lepic is more convenient), but the hotel does offer accessible rooms and garage parking.
