Vedettes de Paris

This ISO 4001-certified company uses smaller vessels than most of its competitors do, and its traditionally-styled boats have special appeal for boatlovers and romantics.

One-hour sightseeing cruises depart one to three times per hour, depending on the season. Vedettes de Paris also has a "Snacking Cruise," a "Champagne Cruise," a "Kid Cruise" (narration only in French), and other theme cruises that vary from year to year.

electric boat photoThe company hopes to introduce electric boats to the Seine in the near future, and it's already operating three navettes electriques on the Canal St-Denis for commuters between Paris and Aubervilliers.

Location:

Vedettes de Paris has a ticket office at Port de Suffren, just to the west of the Pont de l'Alma on the Eiffel Tower side of the river. (You can see a map on the company's Web site.)
