Paris three-star hotels (A-O)

Astoria Opéra
The Opéra Garnier, department stores, and Montmartre are all within easy walking distance of the Astoria Opera, which is located in the 8th arrondissement.

Axel Opéra
Pets are welcome at the Axel, a 38-room Best Western affiliate near the Folies Bergère and the Rue Montmartre Métro station.

Belmont
Hotel Le Belmont occupies a renovated older building on the Right Bank, 100 meters from the Champs-Elysées. Single, double, and triple rooms are available.

Daunou Opéra
The Hotel Danou Opéra is close to the Opéra Garnier and within a few blocks of the Place Vendôme. Triple and handicapped-accessible rooms are available.

De l'Ocean
This superior three-star hotel is in a quiet street just off the rue Lafayette in the 9th district, near major department stores and tourist attractions. It was completely renovated in 1997.

De Saint-Germain
This Left Bank hotel is in the once Bohemian and now trendy 6th Arrondissement, not far from the Boulevard St-Germaine. It has 30 rooms, each with private bathroom, safe, and satellite TV.

Des Ducs de Bourgogne
It's hard to beat this hotel's location in the 1st arrondissement: It's on the Rue du Pont Neuf between the Chatelet-Les Halles RER station and the Île de la Cité, making it convenient for travel to or from Charles de Gaulle Airport. Triple rooms are available; if your third guest is too big for a child's rollaway, use the reservation form's comment box to request rates for a superior triple or adjoining doubles.

Des Trois Pouissins
In summer, a patio with flowers adds to the "serene environment and sweet atmosphere" of this 40-room hotel on the Right Bank. The vaulted breakfast room resembles a wine cellar.

Etoile Trocadéro
Walk to the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, or shopping on the Avenue Victor Hugo. The hotel, on the rue Saint Didier, accepts pets and is a Best Western affiliate.

Holiday Inn Bastille
This isn't your father's Holiday Inn. It occupies a renovated 1913 building near the Place de la Bastille and the Place des Vosges, just 100 meters from a Métro stop and two minutes from the Gare de Lyon.

La Manufacture
Three women bought this hotel a couple of years ago and overhauled it from top to bottom, with everything from new plumbing to a completely new decor. The hotel now has three stars; it occupies a 19th Century building in the 11th district near the Panthéon.
