Pavillon Saint-Augustin
The Gare Saint-Lazare and three Métro lines are only a block away from the Pavillon St-Augustin, where you can enjoy a drink in the private courtyard after a day of sightseeing. The hotel, which opened in 1996, combines an antique building with a modern decor.

Pax
From this  hotel in the 9th arrondissement, you can walk around the corner to the Folies Bergère or stroll a little farther to the Printemps department store. Secure parking is available nearby.

Peyris
Location is one reason for staying at the Hotel Peyris, which is convenient to shopping, sightseeing, and railway stations. The hotel has 50 rooms, with some reserved for non-smokers.

Quality Inn Pierre
The Quality Inn Pierre-Etoile is in a residential district beyond the Arc de Triomphe, but it's worth considering if you're driving and want to avoid the city center. It offers parking (for a fee), triple rooms, and rooms for disabled guests.

Régence
Hotel Le Régence (not to be confused with several other Régence hotels in Paris) is close to the Saint-Lazare railway station and the Place de Clichy on the Right Bank. Single, double, and triple rooms are available.

Résidence du Berry (Versailles)
If you'd rather spend a night near the palace than return to Paris, this 38-room hotel is a practical choice. It's located just five minutes from the Château de Versailles, with three railroad stations and car parking nearby.

Royal Magda Étoile
Forty rooms and 10 suites offer a full range of amenities at this hotel in a quiet location near the Arc de Triomphe.

Royal Saint Michel
Looking for a classic French hotel in the Latin Quarter? Try this renovated, air-conditioned Art-Nouveau building near the St-Michel Métro stop and the Seine. The Ile de la Cité, the official center of France and home of Notre Dame Cathedral, is just a block away and across a bridge.

Serotel Lutece
This Best Western affiliate is on the Left Bank, near the Panthéon, the Boulevard Saint Michel, and the Jardin du Luxembourg. In summer, the garden offers relaxation outdoors after a day of sightseeing.

Sydney Opéra
Its name may be discombobulating to geography students, but the Hotel Sydney Opéra is thoroughly French. It's located just off the Boulevard Haussmann, between the Gare Saint-Lazare and the Madeleine.

Trianon Rive Gauche
The Sorbonne is only 100 meters from this hotel in the Latin Quarter, and it's a short walk to Notre Dame or St-Germain des Prés. The "Trianon Left Bank" has 110 single, double, and triple rooms.
