Tourism.
Hotels
Allegra Isla
The three-star Allegra Isla is on the edge of a forest, not far from the village.
Alpina
This three-star hotel is near the center of town. In addition to
rooms, the hotel has two family suites for 2-5 guests each.
Arosa Kulm Hotel & Alpin Spa
In 1879, a local peasant built a hotel addition to his home and named it the
"Kurhaus." It was renamed the Kulm in 1882; today, it's a five-star resort hotel
that draws an active and wealthy international crowd.
Hof Maran
Cross-country skiers can reach the trails easily from this hotel, which is out of the
center in the Maran area.
Levin's Hotel Metropol
This long-established hotel is popular with Jewish guests, thanks to its
kosher kitchen and dining room.
Obersee
This small hotel is modern, with a lakeside location and plenty of interior wood to
compensate for its skyscraper architecture.
Posthotel
Another mini-office building by the lake, with a fondue cellar, Chinese restaurant,
pizzeria, grill, and nightclub.
Prätschli
This hotel is next to a ski area and winter hiking paths. A fitness studio serves guests
who'd rather get their exercise indoors.
Sporthotel
Valsana
If the alpine sun gives you wrinkles, skip the skiing and enjoy this hotel's
Clarins Beauty Farm.
Waldhotel National
The four-star "National Forest Hotel" is in a pretty (and private) wooded
setting with skiing and winter hiking at its doorstep. It has a swimming pool, sauna, and
steambath.
