Salzburger Adventsingen
Don't miss a traditional Salzburg Adventsingen concert, especially if you're a fan of hammered dulcimers. Churches in nearby towns frequently have Adventsingen of their own; ask the tourist office for advice if your hotel concierge can't help you get tickets for a performance at Salzburg's Grosses Festspielhaus.

Silent Night, Holy Night Museum (Salzburg)
This museum, which houses the birthplace of Josef Mohr, may or may not be open at the time of your visit. It's at Steingasse 9 in Salzburg's Altstadt.

Silent Night and Local Heritage Museum
This museum in Oberndorf bei Salzburg commemorates the creation of the carol Silent Night! Holy Night!, which was written by Josef Mohr and set to music by Franz Gruber.

Stille Nacht Museum
Organist, choirmaster, and Silent Night! Holy Night! composer Franz Gruber is honored in the building where he lived and taught in Arnsdorf, near Salzburg.
