Restaurants/food

Cantienes Nusstorten
The Engadiner Nusstorte is Switzerland's denser, nuttier, and less sticky counterpart to pecan pie. It's available by mail order, but you'll enjoy it more at the pastry shop where it's made.

For lists of restaurants in Scuol and neighboring villages, see the Engadin-Scuol tourism site.

Spa

Engadin Spa Scuol
Click the Union Jack and select "Engadin Spa Scuol" for information on the village's impressive new thermal baths, which are open 7 days a week year-round.

Transportation

Rhaetische Bahn
The narrow-gauge "railroad on the roof of Europe" provides frequent service to Scuol-Tarasp via Landquart and Davos or Chur and Samedan.

Rhaetische Bahn - Stefan Dringenberg
This excellent fan site includes pictures, a route map, and other useful pages.

SBB CFF FSS Timetable
Plan your train trip on the Swiss Federal Railways and Rhaetische Bahn with this easy-to-use timetable, fare guide, and online order form.
