Zermatt village: The new station of the
Gornergrat-Monte Rosa-Bahnen (more colloquially known as the "Gornergrat
Bahn" or GGB) is directly across the street from the BVZ Zermatt-Bahn
station where you'll arrive by the hourly train from Brig or Visp, the shuttle
train from parking lots in Täsch, or the Glacier Express.
If you're headed for the Riffelalp Resort, look for the hotel's
porter in the BVZ station. The porter will load your bags onto the Gornergrat
Bahn cogwheel train, and a hotel employee will collect them at the Riffelalp
station for delivery to your room.
