Very little tourist information is available in English for Canton Jura, a French-speaking canton that was carved out of Canton Bern in 1978. The canton consists of three districts: Delémont, Porrentruy, and les Franches Montagnes (see photo). The latter is popular with bicyclists and cross-country skiers.
