Uptown Minneapolis, a new book from Arcadia Publishing, uses photos from public and private collections to document and celebrate the history of what we know today as Uptown. From the Minneapolis Arena--home of the Ice Follies and Minneapolis Millers--to the neighborhoods' lakes and majestic homes, the Buzza Greeting Card factory, and the old Calhoun and West High schools, this book takes readers on a scenic journey through the heritage of this much-loved community in pictures and text.
