About these Venice hotel pages:
We've included customized Google maps that you can zoom, rotate, or drag for better views.
If you see a conflict between our directions and a hotel's, rely on ours. (Hotel sites are often years out of date.) Ditto for maps: Our icons are hand-placed for accuracy, while GPS-based labels can be off by a street or more.
Finally, if you don't know the city's
layout, see our Venice Orientation Map
before booking.

The
Hotel Adriatico
is a small and surprisingly stylish hotel in the
two-star category. It's on the Rio Terà di Spagna, the pedestrian
thoroughfare that leads from the Santa Lucia Railroad Station to the Piazza San
Marco.
How to reach the Hotel Adriatico from Santa Lucia
Railroad Station:
-
Leave the railroad station by the marble steps outside the main doors, or by the easy-to-miss
(and conveniently stair-free)
side exit if you have rolling luggage, a stroller, or a wheelchair.
-
When you reach the wide fondamenta or pavement in
front of the station, turn left.
-
Walk past the Scalzi Church and the Scalzi Bridge toward the
Lista di Spagna (a busy pedestrian thoroughfare).
-
Continue down the Lista di Spagna for a short distance. The
Hotel Adriatico's entrance is on your left at no. 224, just beyond a shop
with a red awning. (Look for a hanging round sign above the doorway.)
From the Piazzale Roma:
-
Look for the Calatrava Bridge (a.k.a. the Ponte
della Costituzione). It's the large modern bridge at the northeast corner of
the square, next to the Hotel Santa Chiara.
-
Cross the bridge and continue straight ahead, past the large
building on your left, to the train station.
-
From the station, follow the directions above.
From the Marittima cruise terminals:
-
Take a shuttle bus, a taxi, or the
People Mover to the
Piazzale Roma.
-
Follow the directions above.
