Venice is a city of canals, and you never know what you'll encounter as you walk along its water-filled streets. Here, not far from the Campo dei Carmini, my wife and I saw a group of boaters exploring the city by kayak. (Mark Anders wrote an article, "Taking Venice by Kayak," for Men's Journal that's worth reading if you have a taste for green- or greywater kayaking.) |
